INTERNATIONAL BEER WINE AND FOOD FEST RETURNS TO RED BANK
WITH FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENTS

7th Annual Event to Spotlight Red Bank Eateries, Complemented by Live Music
RED BANK, NJ - March 26, 2018 – The 7th Annual International Beer, Wine and Food Fest (International Festival) is set for April 22, 2018 from noon to 7 p.m. in Red Bank’s White Street parking lot. Sponsored by Heineken and The Asbury Park Press, the event promises a worldwide selection of food, beverages, music and fun for all ages.
New this year will be family-focused activities including a petting zoo, children’s rides and children’s games. New beverages and taste sensations from around the globe are being added by dozens of vendors.
Fan favorites such as lobster rolls and cold Heinekens are on the menu along with delectable cuisine and music from around the world. More than a dozen of Red Bank’s acclaimed eateries will be serving up the best in the town’s eclectic fare while live music will fill the afternoon.
The East and West stages in the festival grounds includes an impressive showcase of local and national bands including Metalachi (Metal Mexican Mariachi Band), The Nerds (All American Rock & Pop), The Weeklings (Beatles & English Classics), Remember Jones, Joe Cocker Tribute (Classic English), Verdict (Reggae, Calypso & Caribbean), Emish (traditional Irish and Rock), Colossal Street Jam (All American Rock & Blues), Edelweiss Oompah Band (German, Polish & Slovenian), Italian Street Band (Italian Minstrels), and Atlantic Watch Pipes & Drums (Scottish Classics). The food, beverages, live music and fun offered by the International Beer, Wine and Food Fest will all be had for a good cause. Proceeds from the $5 entrance fee (children under 10 yrs. will be admitted for free) will be split between three Red Bank-based benefactors: theCancer Center at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank Regional High School Buc Backers (the school’s parent group that supports student academic, athletic and performance arts endeavors), and Red Bank RiverCenter (the non-profit organization that has managed Red Bank’s Special Improvement District since 1991).
“It’s the first big festival of the year and the perfect way to celebrate and welcome the spring season in Red Bank,” commented James Scavone, executive director of RiverCenter. “The festival gives attendees the ability to sample and experience Red Bank’s eclectic business community all in one place. Families, residents, and people new to the area can truly experience the best of what Red Bank has to offer all for a good cause.”

All this fun can be had for $5 per person; Children 10 and under are admitted free. Parking will be free throughout Red Bank on the day of the festival. Event-goers can text the Scooter Dudes who will be cruising the streets and providing rides to and from the White Street parking lot with ease (for a fee of $5 round trip ride)!
