When restaurant veteran Louis Andrianos took over longtime beloved Red Bank restaurant Gaetano’s this summer, he set out to make a good thing even better. He revamped and rejuvenated the authentic Italian menu, keeping customer favorites like Lamb Osso Bucco, Calamari Calabrese, Italian Eggrolls, and Grilled Pork Chops with sweet and hot cherry peppers. But, he also added classics like Chicken Parmigiana and Eggplant Parmigiana, as well as awesome new appetizers,
housemade pasta dishes, and entrees that emphasize lighter fare, fresh flavors, and farm-to-table ingredients.
Gaetano’s is becoming the new go-to for lunch with affordably priced salads, burgers, sandwiches on homemade focaccia and ciabatta breads, and an even greater selection of their famous crispy-crust brick-oven pizzas (try the 10 Wallace with goat cheese, mushrooms and caramelized onions!). Also new: Brunch, served daily from 11 am, with a delicious menu of omelets, egg sandwiches, avocado toast, and fruit-topped French toast, pancakes, and waffl es. Out late? You can even swing by Gaetano’s to get a sweet treat from the espresso bar and dessert counter.
“Gaetano’s has always been popular for dinner, but now we’re becoming a great gathering spot for brunch, business lunches, meetings, and even dessert-and-coffee after a show,” says Louis. “And, many of our customers come back to celebrate their special events with us, like engagement parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, and holiday parties in our renovated party space. Our customers have become like friends.”
